The Watch List: Strawberries (Quality), Figs (Price), Gold Kiwi, Tamarillo’s & Beurre Bosc Pears (Season Over), Corella Pears (Quality and Season Ending).
Market Insights: Rain is hampering the quality and supply of all Berries- QLD, NSW & VIC. No shortage to date, just quality and shelf-life. All Stonefruit are in full swing- quality is good, eating and presenting well. Good range of Exotic Fruits on market- Plantain, Carambola, Longans, Lychees, Mangosteen, Pomelos, Pomegranates and Dragonfruit to name a few.

The Buy list: Aussie Asparagus, Broad & Butter Beans, Beetroot, Bitter Melon, Broccoli & Broccolini, All Cabbages, Red, Green, Yellow and Banana Capsicums, Long Red & Bird Eye Chillies, Chinese Leaf Veg, All Cucumbers, Local Herbs, Kale, Tuscan Cabbage, Cos & Iceberg Lettuce, Button & Portobello Mushrooms, Gourmet Salad Mixes, Silverbeet, English Spinach (Bunch), Gourmet, Roma & Cherry Tomatoes, Green Zucchini, Both Male & Female Zucc Flowers.
The Watch List: Horseradish (Supply), Gold Zucchini (Quality & Supply), Large Desiree Potatoes (Price), Eggplant (Price).
Market Insights: No issues to date however we are expecting to see price increases on Beans and Sweet Corn next week due to the poor weather up north. Good local supplies on all leaf vegetables, Zucchini, Asian Veg, Cabbage, Cucumbers, Herbs, Fancy Coloured Lettuce and Variety Tomatoes. No real issues for this week.
